Swimmers of the Year
Swimmer of the Year is the highest honor annually bestowed on Chesterbrook swimmers. On a team that competes every year to win Division 1, Division 1 Relay Carnival, and the All-Star Relay Carnival, every point is important. At the end of the year, however, the Swimmer of the Year award is given to one male and one female swimmer who has most contributed to the success of the team. Although the number of points scored is a primary metric, coaches also evaluate a swimmer's total contribution to the team's success: by swimming off-strokes or in a higher age group, by committing to hard work during the off-season and during the year, by being a leader, and by exemplifying the standards of excellence, sportsmanship, spirit and teamwork that make Chesterbrook special.
